Welcome to my
little piece of writing heaven. I must say, I’m not completely successful in
the blogging world, but I keep on trying, so I know I need be here. I’ve started
about 3 or 4 blogs before The September Garden, each with a few different
themes and each only lasting about 2 weeks to 2 months. Well darn it. Here I go
again!
A little
about me:
I'm expecting my first little one this January! We found out we're having a boy and I can't wait to meet him.

I’m slightly
plan happy. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to plan. I love planners / organizers /calendars
/ lists. Oh, lists! How I adore thee! I plan and write lists daily, sometimes
multiple times a day. I am nutso about planning. “Plans
are worthless, but planning is everything.” - Dwight D. Eisenhower. Oh Dwight, you are so right. My
plans never turn out exactly the way I plan them, but the process is very
enjoyable.
I’m obsessed with my pets.
I have two cats, Phoebe (a calico) and Roxie (a MaineCoon mix) and a doggie
named, Penny (a Rat Terrier). I adopted all my little fur babies and highly
recommend it. I love those little furballs to death! My husband always makes
fun of me because I carry them around like babies. Well, they are my babies.
(They even have clothes…shhhh, yes I might be crazy.)
Did you catch that I’m
married? Well, I am! The hubs and I just celebrated our 3-year anniversary,
this past September. Woot! We met in college and dated 5 years before our walk
down the aisle. (Which I single-handedly PLANNED the whole shindig. Yes, I just
patted myself on the shoulder.)
And now just a few other
things about moi:
I get up early on Saturday
mornings to RUN (even in the winter!) I’m a crazy marathon runner.
I collect anything owl or
elephant related. You can ask my family, I was collecting owls before they
became “THE BIG THING.” I’m very happy they’re popular because now I have more
to choose from!
I’m a novice photographer.
I splurged on a DLSR Nikon and now I have to learn how to use it. Eek. I took a class this winter at the community college and it was a HUGE help.
I work as a graphic
designer / multimedia manager. I’m still working on the design of this website
because I’m a) picky b) tired when I get home from work and I’m too lazy c) a
perfectionist and want it to represent me to a “T.” Did I mention I’m a type-A
personality?
